Bigfoot provides the same practical features than Stone scorpion: tracks, oscillation and stability build up rough terrain capabilities, 350° rotating superstructure increases effectivity because it decreases the need to move the crawler drill. Remote control provides work safety and ease of use.
The crawler drill is easy to maintain because all the maintenance targets are easily attainable.
Bigfoot's development is based on a long experience of Stone scorpion: the amount of spare parts and hoses has been minimized and heat exchange has been optimized.
Stonepower dust collector controls dust and Stonepower shank lubricator lubricates the shank.
The boom is built to carry and move the drilling head with a rock drill and a rock splitter. It has a zoom and a rotator. Also the drilling head and feed beam rotate independently. The feed beam has zoom, too.
Stone Scorpion bigfoot crawler drill is an excellent solution for wedging, stepped excavation and bolting. It is suited for vertical or horizontal drilling at construction sites, canals, tunnels, mines and stone quarries through all seasons. It is capable of operating underground as well. The rock splitter enables rock braking also when blasting is forbidden. The rock drill can be used to drill a start hole for the rock splitter or it can be used independently.
