Stone Scorpion crawler drill is an excellent solution for stepped excavation, bolting or natural stone quarries. Its superior advantages include compact size, wide reach and coverage, 350° turning superstructure, and rough terrain capabilities.

The equipment suits excellently to bolting and vertical or horizontal drilling at construction sites, canals, tunnels, mines, and stone quarries through all seasons. It can be used for drilling holes for explosives in excavation or blasting. It can operate with high precision in small spaces because of its small size, powerful rock drill, 350° turning superstructure and remote controllability. It is capable of operating underground as well.

Suitable drill rod size is R32 / T38.
It is possible to replace a drifter by a rock splitter.
If there is need for both of them, it is possible to install them both to the same drilling attachment or install them in separate drilling attachments using fast coupling.

There is also a possibility to build Stone Scorpion to be a rail bound crawler drill.

Specially in urban areas it is important to reduce noise. There is a silencer available for a drilling attachment.

Features

350° turning superstructure, articulated boom and tilt, ±40° boom swing, 1300 mm feed beam zoom, chain feeder turning system 360°, boom extend 6 m, roof height with zoom 9 m, bore depth 5 m, working area ca 140 m2.
