Long Battery Life and Easy Charging

A single charge provides approximately four hours of operation. Maintenance charging enables continuous operation throughout the working day. The battery can be charged using standard 16 A or 32 A power connections, typically available on construction sites.

A wide range of optional equipment is available for different applications, including a Drill & Split boom, drilling noise suppressor, water mist system, drill bit grinder and measuring equipment. Custom colours are also available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the battery really last a full working day?

A single charge provides 3–4 hours of active drilling. In practice, active drilling accounts for only a fraction of a typical working day. By using the 22 kW Type 2 maintenance charging during breaks, the machine can operate throughout the entire shift. CCS fast charging recharges the battery in 1–2 hours.

Do we need a special electrical connection on site?

No. The eScorpion can be charged using a standard 16 A or 32 A site power socket, typically already available on construction sites. Fast charging requires a CCS charging station, which we can help plan for your site if needed.

What is the payback period compared to a diesel-powered drill rig?

For most customers, the payback period is 3–5 years based on operating costs alone. When the impact of environmental criteria on winning tenders and longer service intervals are also taken into account, the payback period is typically reduced to less than three years.

Does the eScorpion support the Drill & Split method?

Yes. The eScorpion is the only crawler drill rig on the market that allows a Drill & Split boom to be integrated using a quick coupling system. A single machine handles both drilling and rock splitting without the need for additional equipment.

We provide comprehensive after-sales support, including technical assistance, spare parts and maintenance through our nationwide service network in Finland. We also provide on-site operator training when your machine is delivered.
